WHY does everyone think they deserve to be famous without having done anything legitimate for the world?
WHY do women think the deserve a show because they were married to an athlete?! How in the hell is that something that validates their importance? I would never want to do anything that tied me solely to the idea that I was the wife of an athlete and that is why you should deem me important.
WHY do rappers get pissy because they don't win awards? Rap/hip hop wasn't even a category for so long, they're lucky even to be recognized.
WHY do rappers think they deserve accolades when they suck!? lol, foreal.
WHY do grown women still want to get into fights with other grown women on TV?
WHY does everyone think they're classy, when they. are. not?!
WHY does Kanye feel the need to constantly take to his twitter about his emotions? I miss when there was a mystery about being a celebrity. A certain wonder and curiosity about who they were that would only be satisfied through their art and music. Some people should just drop music and let that speak. Connect with the fans but not everything has to be said all the time.
WHY do women perform in high waisted undies nowadays?!
but most of ALL. WHY do famous people always complain about the HATERS when most of it are things they've done upon themselves?! Stay away from the drugs, hoes, violence, and alcohol and you wouldn't have so many haters. Famous people always complain that they want to be normal and treated like everyone else, but if they don't know how to treat FANS well, walk around with theee biggest entourage and ALWAYS speak so highly of themselves... then you asking NOT to be treated normally.
These are not all meant to be taken seriously, just my random thoughts as I go through gossip blogs. It's a guilty pleasure but the foolishness is just at an all time high lately.

2 things that bother me.
- Everyone wants to mention they have gay friends and family and having them is somehow a pass for them to speak about their experience and continue to explain why they can't be married. "I have gay friends and family too..." really should be followed by, "...but I'm not compassionate enough to understand." Point blank. I'd be damned if I was your friend.
- Not to mention, this issue being a morality issue as well. I am Catholic also, but I don't sit around preaching my religion on anyone when I'm talking about politics especially when I know for damn sure I am not a model Catholic. But somehow when Prop. 8 comes up, people want to play like they've sat in church every Sunday (and NOT JUST on Christmas and New Years with the prodding of their mother), given their time to the sick and the poor and have not had premarital sex! Give me a break.
If we want to worry about children being raised in a home with two mothers or two fathers, let's address all the dead beat dads and mothers from heterosexual relationships who leave their children ON THE DAILY. What about the repercussions of that?! Ever think about what it does to your child when you choose to DIVORCE?!
I'm sick of reading, "What is the world coming to...?!" by people who back Prop 8. If Prop. 8 is what you think is wrong in this world, read the rest of the news paper and open your eyes. There are far greater problems in the world in my opinion.
It's a big world out there. There are different religions, different interpretations (especially of the Bible), different values of all kinds of people that we're going to encounter in our lifetime that you aren't going to have a choice but to RESPECT & be TOLERANT of. Learn how to coexist, adapt, and understand or be incredibly closed off to a world much different from your own. Travel abroad and you'll see all kinds of shit that you may not agree with. I'd be worried for our youth who will lack compassion and understanding for anyone different than them. They'll live a rough life.

I've given up facebook for finals week but I slowly want to transition into forever! It's seriously such a time waster and something I seriously think takes away from the great things about life. I've been thinking about technology as a whole and how I've really come to loathe it. First of all, it kind of creeps me out how people can keep so many tabs on you, without even knowing you, or even, you wanting them to know that much about you. Not that I am not curious myself, but I have been stopping myself lately and asking myself, "The fuck do I care!?" Right?
Clicks and clicks can lead you to some random persons page who you've seen around but never spoke to, or worse, your boyfriend/girlfriends' exes! Now how weird does it make it when you happen to meet that person and already know who their friends are, what high school they went to, what they did Friday night etc. without even having said a word to them yet?! That's just creepy! I want organic friendships and genuine meetings where people actually TALK, SEE & FEEL Emotions and CONNECT.
How many times has something been misconstrued in a comment/text/message? You really can't understand a person's approach/tone/intention sometimes and it causes really unnecessary drama! And I think the number one thing about it all is how much I think privacy is important in your life. I read on a blog recently and talked with a friend of mine about how instead of LIVING our lives, we talk ABOUT it instead of actually being present in the moment and appreciating it! It's so true! Not to mention, some people really let it all out on twitter, in turn, making me think of some people differently. You know? Those people that get really bold behind their computers and talk a whole lot of shit. Why bother fill our lives with that ? Or people who want to give a play by play of their personal drama for the whole world to see. I feel like people will care LESS about you in asking how you're doing when all they need to see is what you've posted online. that sucks!
The only great things I've found about facebook is the aspect that I can reconnect with old friends from high school who have found me (and even as far back as elementary school!!) and the fact that you can use it as a platform to publicize events and important things that you've been working on. I think I'm slowly going to start changing all my privacy settings and I'm really going to go through my friends and start deleting people I don't even know or remember meeting and only using my facebook/twitter to publicize or share things I think are worth it.
Sounds trivial to some but think about it, how many times do we rush home to look at photos of OURSELVES ? How much do you know about that person whose facebook you always happen to stumble upon WITHOUT even hanging out with them? How many times has looking at your bf/gf's exes page made you ANGRY for no damn reason or made you insecure (DON'T LIIIIE!) Honestly, all this time spent on all the trivial things above kind of make me cringe at myself. So Here's to less tweeting about our lives and more living it!!!

Truth: I am sick of seeing LEOTARDS/unitards and UNDERWEAR on every female trying to reclaim their fame or jump start their career. Sex sells true, but the attention is fleeting. If you don't have talent, the get-ups aren't going to make us think that you actually do! I like to see stylish women, dressed from head to toe and not women who are going to dinner looking like they forgot their pants. And I also think that you have talent, it speaks for itself and you don't need to do all that 'extra' to prove it.
How do you expect them to treat you if you always either pantless, breasts pushed up all extra or your ass might as well be hanging out your dress?! I would hate to be put in that box of being a one trick pony. If I ever wanted to move on, like be the CEO of my own company, who the HELL is going to take me seriously if they've seen half my goodies already.
Exhibit A: Amber Rose... church hat, leotard, tights and louboutins.. what in the..

Thought:
I am sick of the fact that my mind is trained to always think the conventional way. For years, I accepted the fact that certain things are meant to be done a certain way and if you didn't do it that way, there was something wrong with you and/or me. I always feared that things weren't going to go according to plan & often worried about what people were going to think of me. For guys, I always had a set idea of the type I've wanted and if they didn't fit that type, then goodbye. For school, if I didn't graduate in 4 years, know what I wanted to do straight out of college and become successful like everyone expects of me, then there is something wrong with me. For a long time, when my parents separated, I could NOT understand why my family couldn't be like everyone else.
But now, I would like to give a big 'fuck that' to my ridiculous single-minded and ignorant view of life. Life happens and if I'm not up to par with the rest of my graduating class, my group of friends, or if my family isn't like the rest of America then fuck it! I'd rather have lived a colorful life littered with experience than one that solely is lived for the purpose of pleasing others. The more that I add another year to my age, the more creative minded individuals I have met with so much DEPTH and EXPERIENCE in them when it comes to life. I have witnessed so many different paths to success and happiness that this idealized lifestyle that society wants to put us in is a fucking JOKE. And to think that I wanted my family to somewhat resemble the cookie-cutter image of what an American family is... is a joke as well. The fact that my parents can be REAL about the situation and my brothers and I are given the choice to decide our own life is better than the lies and deceit that exist in so many families of the rich and famous we so often envy. *Ahem Tiger Woods
Thank God for making me realize how consumed I was to being perfect. (What the FUCK is perfect anyway?) Now I RELISH in all of my life's imperfections, wear them proudly on my chest and embrace wholly this crazy life that I live... because I know that if I died tomorrow, I truly have LIVED through it ALL.
Open up your mind and decide for yourself what is REAL life and what you CARE about.
Know that MONEY, doesn't equate happiness.
Know that the PRETTIEST PEOPLE, often really do the UGLIEST things.
Know that the PRETTIEST PEOPLE, often really do the UGLIEST things.
If you can be real with me on that level, you got a friend for life.
To EACH his OWN.
