These are two (of the many) role models in my life who live their creative passions regardless of if they have to pave their own way to do so. To me, they personify people I want to surround myself with... which are hard working, creative, visionaries who bring life and inspiration into art and media.

Levi Maestro made his own way with his incredibly influential and insightful videos showing his life, traveling around the US documenting his time with amazing musicians, artists and clothing industry heads. Watching him and hearing from other people, he seems to be one of the most humble and genuine guys in the 'industry' and I love that about him. Watching his videos always gives me that push I need to stay motivated and work hard. Please watch his videos and see for yourself!

Va$htie Kola, aka, the Downtown Sweetheart, has been someone I've been following for quite some time now. She's the ultimate coolgirl in my eyes, who is educated, well-respected by men and women alike, funny, multifaceted, has a roster of work that I respect and on top of that, she is the first female to design a Jordan! She's a director, artist, designer, party promoter and entrepreneur and if you haven't follower her work yet, do it asap!

If I could meet either of them one of these days... maaaaan, I don't know how I'd react.

One of my favorite Maestro Knows episodes ever. 1) The artistry of Jonathon Mannion is untouchable. I never knew who he was until this video but I can send him out a private thank you through the universe as I've seen his photos time and time again and they truly are.. timeless. 2) When he spoke on Aaliyah and pulled out some of the most iconic pictures I identified with Aaliyah, it brought me back to when I found out she passed along with the time when I found out Left Eye passed. 2 women to me who I really really loved and admired growing up. May they rest in peace. I miss them. 3) Levi's personality is contagious not to mention, he's not so bad on the eyes ;)
