On many days, I can be a complete homebody, drinking tea and reading books. It's one of my favorite things to do. Today I realize that despite the comfort of being in my own solitude, I am the happiest in the company of people. I realize that even being in a huge city, that I don't even know a thing about, I can have comfort in knowing that I am around people. There's just something about people, their stories, their dreams and aspirations that fascinates me. Even if I don't know you, I know that there is a common 'something' that we can all connect with and vibe about... and that idea excites me. The idea that you can be virtually anywhere in the world, and if you open yourself up to allowing people to get to know you, there is an endless, endless amount of possibilities and opportunities that you can experience.
I think its my Libra tendencies, because we are indeed social butterflies... but I definitely have a lust for life & humanity. Do you know how many people in the world there are to learn from? to teach you? It's amazing. And to think that we think we know it all at a certain age in our lives. I hope to never live my life knowing I know anything for certain, except for a few things. I hope to live my life until my very last breath, learning everything I possibly can, especially from people.
What a beautiful thing this world is.
