Erykah Badu & Goapele concert in Oakland, CA --Fox Theater
There is something about the realness and soul in these women that has made my respect and admiration for them grow tenfold after seeing them live in concert. Like Erykah Badu's "Orange Moon", they truly reflect the light of their sun and I can BELIEVE when seeing them on stage that they are sharing every real bit of pain, identity, past and truth that lies within them.
They are so FREE on stage and it's like a breathe of fresh air to see real women with REAL talent. I will forever be a fan of these women!
Now besides seeing Erykah Badu, Goapele and Lauryn Hill, I MUST now see Mary J Blige and Alicia Keys next!!!
