Pet Peeve #129842

I absolutely detest when women always have to reference how they're better than certain other types of women when speaking about themselves. To me, that doesn't make you look confident or "better" than anyone else, it makes you look insecure and threatened. Feeding your own ego by putting others down because they don't rock your steez, wear makeup or listen to the same music as you (examples only), is a close-minded person to me.

I notice this happens a lot with makeup, women that don't wear make-up sit on their high horse thinking that they're so much better than women who do because "they don't need it". I think women who know how to wear makeup well are undeniably gorgeous and I myself, would be envious of anyone who looked that gorgeous instead of finding a reason as to why they can't be. Some women aren't comfortable without wearing some (or a lot) and that's just their deal. The insecure woman who always has to talk about the faults of other women can't look at herself and realize that those are her own problems she's projecting out into the world.

"We don't see things as they are, we see things as WE are."
